This Memorial weekend we enjoyed a quiet weekend at home, relaxing while everyone and their brother left town for the luxury of the Northwoods...  wait, that is what was supposed to happen? 

We did laundry, grocery shopped, mowed the lawn, assembled the garden trellis and irrigation system, planted the beans, tomatoes, zucchini, and more spinach, arugula and beats, painted the mailbox, baked buns, bread, apple pie and peppermint pie.  We went for a walk, a Menards run, and visited grandma.  We assembled and planted our plot at our community garden, cooked out and made ribs.  We moved the huge heavy treadmill down stairs and brought the kid's desk upstairs.  

My point is that we were busy this weekend, but we got a lot done.  And we did also do a little R&R too.
